General Information

Banana Boat® Ultra Light Face Fluid is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Jojoba Oil to provide 12-hour moisture with a soft matte finish. Perfect for daily use,  this fast absorbing , ultra-lightweight formula is fragrance free and non-comedogenic and offers very high UVA/UVB protection from the sun so you can have fun no matter where you are.

Directions For Use

Apply liberally to all exposed areas - at least a teaspoon for each arm, leg,

front of body, back of body and half a teaspoon for the face, neck and ears.

7 teaspoons (35ml) for average sized adult. Wait 20 minutes before you head into the sun and allow to dry.

Cover up with a hat, long-sleeved shirt and sunnies.

Stay cool and find shade especially between 10am-3pm.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Store below 30°C.

Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply to broken, damaged or diseased skin. If irritation or rash appears, discontinue use. Consult a doctor for use on babies under 6 months of age. May stain certain surfaces and fabrics.

SUSTAINABILITY

Rating: Moderate

1. Octocrylene (8.00%): Its persistence and potential to disrupt marine ecosystems make it a low-sustainability ingredient for formulations targeting environmental compatibility.
2. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) (5.00%): Due to its environmental persistence and degradation byproducts, it is not considered sustainable for marine-safe formulations.
3. Octyl Salicylate (5.00%): It has a moderate sustainability profile and is relatively safer, although it could be replaced by more biodegradable filters for better eco-friendliness.
4. Ethylhexyl Triazone (4.00%): This filter is moderately sustainable, as it has lower ecological risks compared to other UV filters and provides effective sun protection with minimal environmental persistence.
5. Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (nano) (2.00%): Tinosorb M is currently considered more sustainable than traditional UV filters like oxybenzone, but nano-sized particles raise concerns about long-term ecological and health impacts.
