Botanical Chemist uses Australia Post for the delivery of all orders within Australia. International orders are dispatched via Airmail. Parcels will be sent in plain and unmarked packaging to assure security and privacy. Orders will be dispatched promptly once payment has been processed and prescriptions (if applicable) are received. Your tracking number will be provided for peace of mind so you can keep track of inventory. Insurance for items can be included for an additional fee on a case by case basis. Cairns Orders

Cairns orders will be delivered via our sales team or registered courier and will require a signature upon receipt of goods. Please provide an address where someone will be available between 8am-8pm weekdays to receive and sign for the parcel, otherwise collection from the pharmacy in Palm Cove can be arranged. For businesses and hotel guests, the hotel and business address is preferable as the receptionist can sign for your order.

Australian Orders

Australian orders will be delivered via express post with tracking or registered post and will require a signature upon receipt. Please provide an address where someone will be available between 9am-5pm weekdays to receive and sign for the parcel, otherwise collection from your local post office will be necessary. Business addresses are preferable as the receptionist can sign for your order.

International Orders

International orders will be dispatched via Airmail. Please allow up to 28 business days for international Airmail delivery. Delivery times may vary depending on the country and customs requirements.

All parcels will be sent in plain and unmarked packaging to assure security and privacy. Orders will be dispatched once payment and prescriptions (if applicable) are received.

Botanical Chemist orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday). We do not dispatch on weekends or Queensland Public Holidays. All orders are shipped from our Cairns, Queesnald warehouse. We use Australia Post for domestic shipping and DHL for international deliveries. Tracking numbers will be provided for peace of mind and your convenience.

Free Shipping Within Australia:

We provide FREE Shipping Australia wide on all orders over $120 that are under 3Kg and have an Australian delivery location.

The shipping fee shown below is an estimate only. Final shipping charges will be displayed during your checkout process based on the shipping method, product type, weight and location chosen by you.

Please refer to the Australia Post website in order to calculate the shipping timeframe for your location. This will help you estimate the number of business days taken to deliver the product after we dispatch it from our warehouse which is located in Cairns, QLD 4879. International Shipping

Estimated Timelines:

All our international orders will be dispatched using DHL via Airmail. Please allow up to 28 business days for international Airmail delivery.

Delivery time does not include the time parcels may spend in the destination country’s customs service. All international orders may require a signature on delivery. Due to COVID-19 we are experiencing varied shipping delays and unable to guarantee shipping timeframes at this time.

International delivery cost varies. Delivery cost can be determined by using the Postage Calculator at the checkout.

All prices, shipping and handling charges do not include relevant customs duties or taxes that may be incurred and charged. These charges need to be paid by the customer. Please check with your local customs offices for further details.

Postage and Handling Charges

Order Tracking

Domestic orders will include a tracking number via email. Customers are expected to receive the tracking numbers on the day the order is dispatched from our Cairns warehouse. 

Dispatch Delays

Orders will be dispatched within two business days providing all items are in stock. We do not send partial deliveries. Please contact our customer service team via telephone on (07)40590077 or email palmcove@botanicalchemist.com.au if you require any further information about your order.

Prescription Orders

Prescriptions are only valid if they have been written by an Australian registered Doctor. Prescriptions from other countries are not valid in Australia and we are required to abide by Australia healthcare law. The Australian registered Doctor will forward the prescription to us and we can process and dispatch the order upon receipt of this valid Australian prescription.

For Australian customers, the original prescription must be received by mail before any prescription orders can be processed and dispatched. It is recommended to order well before your medicine runs out. We offer a prescription filing service, where we can keep any repeats on file and can dispatch any time you require. Deliveries can be setup to send to you regularly, e.g. every 21 days so you never run out of medication and amounts will counted towards your PBS safety net.
