Numit 5% Cream is a topical numbing cream designed for external use to help relieve pain during medical procedures. Each tube contains 10g of cream, making it easy to apply when needed.Active Ingredients
Numit cream contains two active ingredients: Lidocaine (Lignocaine) 2.5% and Prilocaine 2.5%. These ingredients work together to provide effective numbness at the application site.Directions for Use
To use Numit cream on intact skin, follow these simple steps:- Start by ensuring the skin is clean and dry. Remove any makeup if necessary.
- Squeeze out about 2g of the cream directly at the site where the procedure will be performed.
- Cover the cream with an occlusive dressing or a plastic film. If using plastic film, secure it with adhesive tape. Paper-framed dressings are also suitable.
- Ensure there is a thick layer of Numit cream underneath the dressing; do not spread the cream out. Smooth the edges of the dressing to prevent leakage.
- Apply Numit at least 1 hour before the procedure. It can remain on the skin for several hours without losing effectiveness. For split skin grafting, apply it 2 hours beforehand. For procedures on adult male genital skin, apply it 15 minutes before.
- Just before the procedure, remove the dressing, wipe off the cream, and clean the area with alcohol. The numbing effect lasts for at least 2 hours after removing the dressing.
Warnings
- For external use only.
- Avoid applying Numit near the eyes or on broken skin.
- Do not use on large areas of the body unless advised by a healthcare practitioner.
- If irritation occurs, stop using the cream and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
