Hydralyte Electrolyte Effervescent Tropical Tablets are designed to help relieve symptoms of dehydration caused by various factors like vomiting, diarrhoea, excessive sweating, intense physical activity, travel, or even occasional hangovers. These effervescent tablets quickly replenish electrolytes and fluid to restore balance, providing rapid hydration when you need it most.
Uses:

Warnings:
Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:
- 6 hours in infants under 6 months.
- 12 hours in children under 3 years.
- 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years.
- 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults.
Each 200 mL dose contains 156 mg of potassium. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children. Each dose also contains 276 mg of sodium. The maximum daily dose contains 5.52 g of sodium. Contains: Sugars, sucralose, mannitol. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Ingredients (per tablet):
- Glucose: 1.62g
- Citric Acid: 672mg
- Sodium from Sodium Chloride: 34.5mg
- Potassium from Potassium Chloride: 78mg
- Sodium from Sodium Bicarbonate: 103.5mg
Additional ingredients include: Sugars, sucralose, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate. Each Ice Block (62.5 mL) contains:
- 54 mg of potassium
- 77 mg of sodium
Directions for Use:
- Remove 2 tablets from the tube and seal the cap tightly.
- Dissolve in 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water (takes 2-3 minutes). For babies under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
- Sip slowly and frequently until symptoms improve.
- Discard unused solution after 2 hours, or 24 hours if refrigerated.
- Avoid mixing Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.
- Always dissolve in water. Do not place tablets directly into the mouth.
Dosage Recommendations for Dehydration Due to Vomiting and Diarrhoea:
- Under 12 months: 2-4 tablets in the first 6 hours. Max 10 tablets per day.
- 1-3 years: 4-6 tablets in the first 6 hours. Max 14 tablets per day.
- 3-6 years: 6-8 tablets in the first 6 hours. Max 20 tablets per day.
- 6-12 years: 8-14 tablets in the first 6 hours. Max 26 tablets per day.
- Adults & children over 12 years: 12-20 tablets in the first 6 hours. Max 40 tablets per day.
Usage Advice:
Drink Hydralyte Electrolyte Tablets whenever you feel thirsty or notice signs of dehydration.
Storage Instructions:
Store below 30°C. Do not use if the cap seal is broken. Do not ingest the cap. Keep out of reach of children.
